Gotha, Germany IX

Lieber,

We've lost the last two games. The first by 22 last weekend and the second by 12 to the first place team in our league last night. After last night's game, we were stuck in traffic behind an accident only 500 meters from our turn off and an hour from the town. It took us an hour before we got moving again, but we made it home safely. This provided us with the perfect opportunity for a little team bonding that included karaoke, “I Have Never...”, and just some good old fashion conversation amongst teammates. And I woke up this morning to freshly fallen snow blanketing the sidewalks and streets.

My roommate, Kristen, and I have a great arrangement. Most anyone who knows me also knows that cooking is neither my forte nor is it all that desirable to me. As luck would have it, Kristen does like to cook. So, we split grocery costs, she cooks, and I clean up afterwards. Earlier in the week, we went to a nice little coffee shop/bakery and enjoyed some sweet treats and coffee for Kristen and a moccacino for me. Sunday, it seems, has turned into our restaurant day. We've been frequenting a nice little Italian restaurant called Pavarotti, but tonight we had a dinner at another Italian spot by the name of Bocelli. It was a nice little family dinner with Kristen, Rese, Terrell, Ronny, and Kevin. They started us off with a champagne, then we had our main dishes followed by dessert. A great time was had by all that spilled into the street with an intense but friendly snowball fight on the way home. The super bowl is coming on later, but I don't think I'll be staying up until 3am or so to watch the game. I'll just catch some highlights online later.

Bis Später,

AC
